Update your look with one of these top beauty trends.
Things we learned backstage at the fall 2016 runway shows: Bold brows aren’t going anywhere, bright green can actually look subtle, and glitter is amazing almost anywhere (within reason). Here, my favourite makeup looks for fall 2016.
1. Pale Peach Pucker
Nude lips with a hint of peach transformed looks that were clean and pretty to bold and daring. It’s no wonder Pink Tartan,Melissa Nepton and Joe Fresh opted for this classic look; it’s versatile and can be worn by anyone, so long as it’s done right!

2. Black Magic
The heavy black liner that blanketed the eyelids of models for gsus sindustries, Sid Neigumand VAWK made a bold impact. That rocker, in-your-face statement anchored the theme for each collection, while adding a deep, dark mystique that had us hooked.
3. Spider Lashes
No longer a morning-after faux pas, spider lashes stole the spotlight at the Mikhael Kale,Hilary MacMillan and Claudette Floyd runway shows. The spiky, sparse look was fun and edgy and screamed attitude. Perfect for those who aren’t afraid to switch up and experiment with their beauty style!

4. Fine Line
A simple sweep of black eyeliner across your eyelid takes little effort, but can dramatically change your style. We saw lots of clean makeup looks by Mackage, Stephan Caras and Farley Chatto, which were dolled up by just a simple line, winged slightly at the ends. Make a liquid liner a must-have items in your purse this season!

5. Pink Kiss
David Dixon, Line Knitwear and Triarchy nodded to the trendy pink lip with a pretty, fun and flirty look. This classic, feminine touch worked well in the overall makeup looks, but also boosted the collections of each of these designers, especially David Dixon’s beautiful bridal wear.

6. Eye ‘C’
Mikael D wowed us with roman romaticism and boraque textures. Amber light dusted all over the lid and faded into the crease. Honey lust layer on top for extra pop and shine. Highlight added ‘c’ shape from under the brow, around the eye and onto the top of cheekbone for more luminous, light reflective skin.
